Missing Person: Lauryn Dickens, Female, West Memphis, Date of Birth: 11/24/2009, Lauryn was last seen September 7, 2010. Shakara Dickens reported her daughter missing on Sept. 15, telling police that she gave the child on Sept. 7 to an unknown woman who arrived at her Raleigh apartment unannounced at the behest of the child's jailed father.Dickens told police that she had told the father that she could no longer care for Lauryn. He then sent the woman, she claimed.Dickens gave a thorough description of this woman: a 40- to 50-year-old white woman with gray, shoulder-length, straight hair parted in the center. She was wearing glasses, a white button-down blouse, khaki capri pants and white, closed-toe sandals.However, police said in court documents that their investigation showed that the father had not spoken with Dickens since late August.
